Basic Instinct 2 Movie Story - synopsis. Basic Instinct 2 covers the post-San Francisco criminal career of Catherine Tramell in the UK. Scotland Yard appoints psychiatrist Dr. Andrew Glass to evaluate her after she is once again in trouble with the law. Catherine Tramell (Stone ) relocates from San Francisco to London and she quickly finds herself involved in criminal activities. David Morrissey plays a psychologist assigned the task of evaluating her by the police. She may finally have met her match in this psychiatrist.
